year 2007

hello 2007, byebye 2006.

best wishes to everyone who sms-ed me. hahaha. the vibration didn't really wake me up though. LOL. but thanks for wishing me!

anyway, went for church and i'll share my service with you guys. its all about going to a new year *duh. and wat 7 means. 2007. a brand new year, we wont noe wat will happen to ask so we should just believe in JESUS and let him lead us through all the ups and downs.

and i noe, 2007 will just be a great year for me.

(31) Therefore do not be anxious, saying. ' What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or ' What shall we wear?'
(32) For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
(33) But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you.
(34) "Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Matthew 6:31-34

hence, we should not rush over whatever that dawn upon us. otherwise, there is no grace to protect us from the unfortunate events. eg. stress. we should always trust in the Lord for he has already planned all the events which will unfold to us as each day pass. he does things for a reason, and we should never hold any grudges, any thoughts of not believing in him. we must have faith in him to guide us through all the events, be it good or bad.

(22) On the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers each. And when all the leaders of the congregation came and told Moses,
(23) he said to them, " This is what the LORD has commanded:'Tomorrow is a day of solemn rest, a holy Sabbath to the LORD; bake what you will bake and boil what you will boil, and all that is left over lay aside to be kept till the morning.' "
(24) So they laid aside till the morning, as Moses commanded them, and it did not stink, and there were no worms in it.
(25) Moses said, "Eat it today, for today is a Sabbath to the LORD; today you will find it in the field
(26) Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, which is a Sabbath, there will be none."
(27) On the seventh day some of the people went out to gather, but they found none.
(28) And the LORD said to Moses, " How long will you refuse to keep my commandments and my laws?
(29) See! the LORD has given you the Sabbath; therefore on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Remains each of you in his place; let no one go out of his place on the seventh day."
(30) So the people rested on the seventh day.
Exodus 16:22-30

thus, the more we rest, the more portion the lord will give to us. it will have BOTH quality and quantity, not having worms nor does it stink. 7 means rest and completeness. Sabbath that is given to us is a gift. we must not let the devil overtake us. we go to work to express our talents and gifts. even if we do not gain high position in jobs, RICHNESS comes from the LORD. Abide his words and we will bear more food, feel more rich, feel more bless. we must not doubt his words. we must TRUST in him and love him. because he loves us and gave his only begotten son, the darling of heaven to die on the cross for us.

(3)" You know that David my father could not build a house for the name of the LORD his God because of the warfare with which his enemies surrounded him, until the LORD put them under the coles of his feet.
(4) But now the LORD my God has given me rest on every side. There is neither adversary nor misfortune
(5) And so I intent to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD said to David my father, ' Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, shall build the house for my name.'

(7) David said to Solomon, "My son, I had it in my heart to build a house to the name of the LORD my God.
(8) But the word of the LORD came to me saying, 'You have shed much blood and have waged my great wars. You shall not build a house to my name, because you have shed so much blood before me on the earth.
(9) Behold, a son shall be born to you who shall be a man of rest. I will give him rest from all his surrounding enemies. For his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Isreal in his days.
(10) He shall build a house for my name. He shall be my son, and I will be his father, and I will establish his royal throne in Isreal forever.

rest and there will ONLY be goodness! no adversary nor evil occurrence will happen to us. we dun just wan a job, we want high position. God will lead a way for us. God is our path to follow(x

(25) For the thing that i fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me.
(26) I am not at ease, nor am I quiet; I have no rest, but trouble comes."
Job 3:25-26

(5) Lifewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for " God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."
(6) Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that all the proper time he may exalt you,
(7) casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
(8) Be sobber-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
(9) Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.

We should let him be in charge of our life. he, our LORD, will revolve all things for us. the more we cast our cares upon him, he will help. we should rest, not literally sleeping but LISTENING to his words, READING his words. we must trust him, love him, have faith in him and believe in him. Through all these, the devil will NOT be able to penetrate to us, as the LORD is protecting us from all the devil's evil doings.

In conclusion, 7 is the completeness and rest. its Sabbath, its resting in his name, loving him and believing in him. 2007, is going to be a WONDERFUL year.

anyway, have to reflect on 2006.
2006 has been a so-so kinda year.

studies.
been through ALOT of ups and downs. hahaha. it was like a roller coaster. sometimes woohoo, A1 and sometimes boo... C6, D7 even. but im still proud to say that i've grown. not taller*sadly*, but mentally. grown mature(: i have come to know two SUPER DUPER nice teachers, ms tay and mr gui. and they have certainly helped me alot by encouraging me and showering me with LOTS and TONS and MILLIONS of love. they were DA BOMB~ hahahaha. i've also come to acknowledge that studying early definitely pays off.(x

family
mine has been SO precious to me. they were ALWAYS there for me when i needed them. both financially and mentally i guess. hahaha. and they are always encouraging me. there isn't the sibling comparison anymore(: they said that they knew that i was different from my brother since young and i may not be as smart as my brother, but im definitely have my OWN strong points compared to him. mum even told me that i may take a longer time to be successful, but she's already very proud of me, and i'll definitely make my mark. it really makes me happy because my stupid brother is damn godly smart and im like average-ly smart. hahaha.

and my family is becoming closer(x which is good and im surely going to listen much better to them. and dad's birthday is coming!!! hahaha.

great to have my sweet-est and nice-est boyfriend tay yujuan. who is my LOVE and my life. hahaha. especially since she's the only one who celebrated my birthday with me. hahaha.

and having mummie and boonie and hua jie. they always seems to be comforting me in class because of my stupid results la. hahaha. always giving me shocks which i cant take. but now, im sure i CAN(x but they've been the best(: with mummie being so guai and boonie being so cute, ARGH, is that the right word? haahha. i've really enjoyed their company walking home, studying, asking questions.

plus. my darling yuanlin who is always meeting bad guys, hence wishing her to meet better guys. MORE HANDSOME ESPECIALLY. and treat her SUPER well. hahaha.

oh, and leonad to straighten out his thoughts and best wishes to whatever he does in future(:

mehmeh who always online for me to haha and hehe and smile at. really cheers me up. although sometimes a lil blur, her blur-ness makes me laugh. hahaha. especially the red face! (x

and lesbian yeepei, though i know u wont read this, i really thank you for being such a close bball friend to me. hearing all my CRAPS and sometimes my mood swings, i LOVE you(x

which is super qiao cause shes also number 5 in anglican. we saw each other before but it was the battle between schools and, of cause mjr won. HAHAHA. but im really glad to have met her here. she's REAL nice and cool and all. and ya, glad to have met new friends.

glad to have been friends la. you've certainly brighten up my life and let me see life in a new perspective(x. plus i've learnt more craps too

1. LOST WEIGHT *definitely
2. save money
3. file up worksheets on time aka dun be so messy
4. play hard, work hard
5. no unfortunate occurrences to happen to friends
6. my family to be safe and be RICH
7. all friends to be HAPPY
8. try new things, sports, instruments...
